Access to Houses of multiple occupancy register

Allowing residents of Birmingham to access the HMOS register in order to track down landlords

Why the contribution is important

This is important so that house owners living near rented accommodation especially those in Selly Oak.  At present it is very diificult to track down a landlord if there are any problems.  It would make these landlords more accountable.  Trying to locate a landlord recently due to a range of concerns including anti-social behaviour, rubbish and rats resulted in me spending nearly £40 accessing the land registry and electoral role.

    Mucaddy,

This information should already be available on the BCC website:
    http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/hmo-register

However after having a quick look at it the Landlord information appears to be missing off of the most recent upload.

We will leave this idea up hear so this issue can be raised with the relevant department at the end of this discussion and hopefully rectified quickly.

    Thank you for the idea.
